Inspiring changes in just one session

My Story

There were many times in my life when I felt like an outsider, as if being different made me less worthy. I wondered why I couldn’t fit in, why people sometimes didn’t welcome me, and why I needed their approval so much. But, over time, I realized the real question was different: was I accepting myself? Why was I letting others’ views shape how I saw myself?

Yoga has been a powerful guide in helping me find answers to those questions. It taught me that everyone has the right to choose who they bring into their lives and who they keep at a distance. That doesn’t define who I am; it just shows me that self-acceptance is a journey, not a single goal. Everyday, I’m proud of myself for doing things I once thought I couldn’t. Yoga showed me that my mind is often the only thing holding me back.
Through yoga, I’ve learned to love myself, my flaws and all, seeing them not as limitations but as part of my story. Yoga has strengthened my body, calmed my mind, and helped me heal from stress and even some health issues.

I’m Anupama Suman, a food science engineer living in France. I’ve followed a winding path that includes an MBA and studies in biotechnology, with its own share of challenges and stresses. Yoga has been my way to find peace in the middle of the chaos, to appreciate both the calm and the storms in life. We need both! But, like having the right tool for each task, we need the right tools to handle life’s ups and downs.
I want to share this transformation with others—to help people find the courage to be themselves, to love who they are, and to find a sense of peace that isn’t shaken by outside opinions. Let’s practice yoga together—not to lose weight or prove anything to anyone, but to become whole and at ease within ourselves. Trust me, when you find that, everything else falls into place.

Qualification in yoga

I am a certified 200-hour Yoga Alliance instructor from SSV Yoga, with additional certification in Prenatal Yoga from Bodhi School of Yoga. Currently, I am pursuing an advanced yoga master course from AviYoga in India, and I am preparing to pass the Ministry of AYUSH certification exam to deepen my credentials.

My personal and professional aim is to immerse myself in the holistic practice of yoga, exploring and embodying the complete path of the 8 limbs of yoga as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

I am dedicated to understanding and sharing yoga in its entirety, fostering a practice that honors its depth and transformative potential for both myself and my students.
